These are recent photos that allow the viewer a
bit of an idea of some of the color varieties of Glosters available today. If you are looking for short or long hard-feathered yellow ground,
high buff, low buff, silver-backed, blue, cinnamon, fawn, three-parts dark
green, light, medium or heavily variegated, then you should know that the
Gloster breed comes in all these colors and many more!
The photos in the rows above and below are minutes apart of canary chicks hatching!!
Can you spot the cinnamon? It's the one with the pink eyes! The bald-headed one is a Gloster corona!
Simply click on the thumbnails to enlarge the photos.
The Gallery Of Stars - Page Three contains photos that will give you a better idea of what the cages look like in THE HOUSE OF CRESTS. There are close-ups of the double and triple box-type breeding cages that are used. Flight cages or even the breeding cages, are never used to house more than one Gloster per cage. Every canary, once it has been weaned is housed one per cage during its' duration in THE HOUSE OF CRESTS. (More on the topic of cages can be found in The Gallery Of Articles.)
